Release 055 - Los Rodriguez, Gesha Washed Mosto Fermented
Country of Origin: Bolivia
Variety: Gesha
Process: Washed Mosto Fermented
Altitude: 1650 - 1750 mASL
This Gesha varietal comes from the world-renowned Rodriguez family, one of Bolivia’s most respected coffee producers. It’s one of two Los Rodriguez coffees we’ve released over the past few months, selected for its exceptional clarity and structure in the cup. We’ve been fortunate to work with coffees from the Rodriguez farms since the very beginning of Special Guests, and we’re always excited to highlight Bolivia as an origin.
The coffee has undergone a washed mosto fermentation processing method, which includes a stage where the coffee is fermented in mosto. It results in a vibrant, intense profile.
In the cup we found flavour notes of Turkish delight, apricot and light brown sugar.
